What is Braycote 868 Grease?
Castrol Braycote 868 is a grayish-black, high-performance grease formulated with molybdenum disulfide and silicone oil. It is designed for slow-speed sliding surfaces and as an anti-seize compound for threaded parts operating in extreme temperatures. This grease meets the requirements of MIL-DTL-25681E but is not qualified to the specification.
Applications
Lubricates slow-speed sliding surfaces up to 400°C (752°F).
