An attractive, quality built folding seat cushion that has a 15" x 15" x 4" bottom, and 14.5" x 14.5" x 2" tufted back with tapered top. Its cockpit friendly compact design has a small velcro strap for folding, and a simple loop strap for carrying. The fire-resistant foam was carefully selected to maintain adequate height under body weight and G-forces, while still maintaining comfort. The outer material is a 600 denier, liquid-repellent nylon.
I am not a pilot but have found that tables and desk are gradually getting higher and higher. I bought this a year ago and it is just perfect for me.
The material and workmanship are excellent, it has held up very well and the seat still measures 4 inches and the back 2 inches. The cushion is firm but very comfortable for extended periods of time though the g-force at my desk is pretty minimal.
I am buying a second one so I don't have to keep moving the one I have from the dining room to the office and back.
